First Singapore Private Aviation Show an Outstanding Success
Monday 29th September, 2008
MillionaireAsia successfully organised Singapore’s first Private Aviation Show at Seletar Airport on 26th-27th September. The event was officially supported by the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) and attracted more than 200 Ultra High Net Worth Individuals.
Visitors had the opportunity to inspect latest generation aircraft displayed by Bombardier (Challenger 850), Dassault (Falcon 2000X) and Hawker
Beechcraft (700XP / 900XP), with other exhibitors including Lufthansa Private Jets, Orient SKYS, The Flying Club and VistaJet. The Private Aviation
Show programme also included a half-day seminar with presentations from industry sector leaders, including Chuck Woods, Chairman of AsBAA.
The event was held in conjunction with today’s Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix, when many of Asia’s wealthiest individuals are visiting the city for the world’s first F1 night race.
“This inaugural Private Aviation Show in Singapore has been an outstanding success in building greater understanding of aircraft ownership and charter amongst many of Asia’s wealthiest individuals. The attendance has been well above our expectations and we look forward to moving to the larger Singapore Airshow site for the 2009 show,” said Brian Yim, Group Publisher and Managing Editor of Millionaire Asia.
