Friday 2nd May, 2008
LAN Airlines has released its 2008-2009 South America Airpass, offering a wide range of travel options within and between nine countries- Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
The new Airpass has six travel zones, providing customers with domestic and international flights to over 50 destinations in LAN’s South America network, served by LAN Airlines LAN Argentina, LAN Ecuador and LAN Peru. Flight coupons are priced from just USD $99 for sectors up to 560 miles, with a minimum of three coupons required for each Airpass purchase.
This year’s itinerary incorporates more flights on key routes, and increasing use of LAN’s new Airbus A320 family of twin-jet aircraft to provide more seats and extra comfort.
Catalina Gonzalez, Sales and Marketing Manager Australia and New Zealand for LAN said the Airpass was one of the most popular products for Australians and New Zealanders visiting South America.

“As well, there are countless other air route combinations which enable travellers to explore as little or as much of South America as they wish, using the LAN air network.”
